Discover Cornwall’s Best Attractions This Half Term

February half term is the first official break from school this year, and in turn sees a small increase in demand for stays in Cornwall. Take this opportunity to share ideas on destinations and attractions in the county. By doing so, guests can start to see what is on offer and consider what accommodation will suit them for a Cornish break.

To get you started, see a few ideas here to share with your potential guests:

National Trust

From enchanting woodlands, landscaped gardens to Estate Properties. The National Trust have a feast of activities on this half term. Our favourite, Glendurgan Gardens celebrates the reawakening of Spring, inviting families and friends to follow the pathways throughout the garden to complete challenges along the way. Be sure to visit the maze and challenge yourselves to who will make it to the centre first.

Eden Project

Pack a marmalade sandwich to enjoy this day out. Hidden amongst the jungle at the Eden Project. Visitors this half term are encouraged to take part on the journey to uncover the treasures and find Paddington Bear.

Tate St Ives

Encourage kids and adults alike to become Art Explorers at the Tate in St Ives. Perched above Porthmeor Beach in St Ives, you can make a real day of it by visiting the exhibitions and taking part in the activities before heading up to the Tate Café for lunch and take in the sea views.

Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens

Reopening on the 15th February, Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens is a paradise celebrating the possibilities of growing plants that adore the Cornish microclimate. A collection of independents collaborate together to form a must see destination for any age. Head up through the gardens marvelling at the sculpture created by nature and artists alike. Fancy taking a bit of the magic home? Stop off at the onsite Tremenheere Nursery to pick out your very own succulent.

Share the love of both big attractions and the hidden independent business that shape our county. This is a chance to talk about why Cornwall is a great holiday destination and why guests should book with you to experience these days out.
